Farm Level Biodiversity Data Measured in the Fields.

HiveTracks helps farms and land managers track plant and pollinator diversity on their own land, using just a smartphone, and turns your habitat observations into evidence you can use for stewardship schemes, buyers, and habitat decisions.

The Problem.

Ecologist surveys are expensive and inconsistent. Satellite datasets can't see a single field or hedgerow. Most farms are already doing the work of managing for nature, they just don't have a simple way to prove it, season after season.

What It Gives You

Blooming Calendar: design and manage floral habitat so pollinators have food from January to December

Pollinator Index: track diversity and abundance of pollinators to see whether your management changes are actually working

Biodiversity Performance Metric: track your progress over time, on the same scientific footing used in EII¹, BII², and GLOBIO MSA³

SELF-MANAGED BIODIVERSITY APP

For farms, land managers & Citizen Science

Designed for farm operations,  land managers, and community projects to self-onboard and build trends over time data for plant and pollinator metrics.

Efficiency: you're already walking the land and habitats, HiveTracks turns observations into structured, repeatable and auditable data
Incentives: turn what you're already doing into evidence for stewardship and agri-environment payments, access to premium markets
Compliance: if buyers, supply chain partners, or regulators ask for proof, you have an auditable record ready

How It Works

As simple as taking photos on your phone. Walk your habitat, photograph plants and pollinators, and let HiveTracks turn it into trends, benchmarks, and reports you can use to inform management decisions, to support your marketing efforts, and hand to any 3rd party scheme administrator, regulator or buyer.

Staff, farmers, citizen scientists use the HiveTracks app to take geo/time-stamped photos of plants and pollinators using a simple, repeatable method (pins, 1 m² quadrats, 10 m/5-min transects). Works fully offline.

1. Collect (anyone, anywhere)

Decision-grade dashboards show trends over time, blooming calendars, an audit review page, weather/events context, and benchmarks against local cohorts. CSV export; API-ready next. Automated biodiversity reports from the dashboard.

2. Understand (dashboards & benchmarks)

AI summaries translate patterns into practical actions—helping you plan habitats, adapt management, evidence results, and support reporting to buyers, investors, and regulators.

3. Act (insights to outcomes)

Where hives are present, add hive health metrics and honey/pollen lab testing to reveal landscape-level floral sources and foraging patterns.

4. Enrich (optional hive data)

Structure your biodiversity data

Deploy accessible environmental monitoring to your site or across your portfolio.
